1) The toys we sell are cool but... You're not really ready to buy any great toys right now. It's okay to just come in and look around, it happens at our retail store all the time. When you share your email address with us, we'll let you know about any special promos or deals we have so you don't miss out.
2) Keeps our prices low... Internet marketing can cost an arm and a leg but sending an email to our customers is inexpensive. If we are able to pay less for marketing we will be able to pass that savings on to you. It's a win-win for everyone...except our marketing manager (but if you don't tell her, we won't either).
3) Stay in the "loop"... It is almost impossible to keep up with what's going on in the specialty toy market. New companies are started everyday and great new products are launched just as frequently. We sift through all of the information and present to you what we think are the best of the best in specialty and educational toys. You will be the first to know about any great new toys we add to our site.
4) Toy safety and recalls... If any of the toys we sell are ever subject to a safety recall that effects our store or customers, we will send out an email to let everyone know. We encourage customers to stay knowledgeable about all toy and child product recalls by visiting our Toy Safety Page on a regular basis.
5) Exclusive deals and contests... What kind of e-commerce store would we be if we didn't reward our email "listers" (I think I made up that word) with free stuff and exclusive deals? Free shipping offers and gift card giveaways are just a couple of the perks you could win each month.
Wow I get all of that just for sharing my email address?... Yes.
